Britney Spears Leaves Stage During Vancouver Concert: ”Don't Smoke Weed!"

Britney Spears Vancouver Concert picture Britney Spears walked off stage during her Vancouver concert due to the cigarette smoke from the audience.

Britney started the Circus show at Vancouver's GM Place on Wednesday and everything seemed fine. But 15 minutes later, the stage went dark and fans went wild, then Britney left the stage because the air got too smoky, according to reports.

A short time later, a voice announced to the crowd."The building is awfully smoky. It is uncomfortable for everyone on stage, including Ms. Spears. Please extinguish all cigarettes – this is a non-smoking building, and the show will resume when the smoke on the stage is cleared.”

About half an hour later, the 27-year-old singer returned to the stage and resumed the show. After finished the show, she advised the crowd "Don't smoke weed!"

Britney later posted a statement regarding the Vancouver show on her website: "We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney's set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue."
